RNA Preservation Medium is a total RNA preservation reagent, which can stabilize and protect the RNA of cells and prevent RNA degradation.

Principle of the test:

The RNA Preservation Medium is a water-soluble cell storage reagent that rapidly penetrates in o tissues to stabilize and protect RNA in cells. With the sample immersed and stored in the RNA Preservation Medium, it is no longer necessary to immediately process the tissue and cell samples, nor to freeze the samples in liquid nitrogen for subsequent processing,and protects the quality and quantity of RNA from RNA extraction.

 Sample Preservation and Delivery

Nasopharyngeal secretions：Fresh sample is highly recommended to perform this test.

If it is not processed immediately after collection, samples can be stored 2-8 ℃ for up to 48 hours , If a delay in extraction is expected ,store specimens at - 70°C or lower.

Samples should be transported in dry ice.Handling procedure should comply with the state's regulations for type 2 pathogens on biosafety regulations.
